Back in 1961 Spurs became the first club to achieve the League and FA Cup Double in the 20th century. For the London team managed by Juande Ramos, playing in the Feyenoord stadium is returning to sacred ground. For it was in Rotterdam back in 1963 that the Spurs also became the first British club to win a major European trophy and the legendary Feyenoord Stadium is the place where they did it after a 5-1 thrashing of Atletico Madrid Spurs lifted the European Cup Winners' Cup. In 1984 Spurs passed through De Kuip again as they eliminated home team Feyenoord in the UEFA Cup and went on to win the tournament.

Experienced manager Juande Ramos - having won two back-to-back UEFA Cups with Sevilla FC - is almost a guarantee that they will not be disappointed. At the Feyenoord Jubilee Tournament fans of the London outfit have two great matches to look forward to, as Spurs play European giants Celtic on Friday and Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
